Me neither... is Silvina Sícoli 's second solo exhibition at Selvanegra gallery, curated by Antonio Villa and featuring a gallery text by Manuel Quaranta. On this occasion, Silvina presents a series of recent paintings and soft sculptures, where the pictorial and the textile coexist in a singular lack of definition. In her work, nature manifests itself emotionally: mountains or peaks are repeated, faded, colored, and superimposed. Gestures of animism and deformity invoke other ways of perceiving life. A watery and vibrant painting, exuberant and vital, that both loves and is frightened.
