Agustina Girardi
Agustina Girardi (La Plata, 1981) holds a Bachelor's degree and is a Professor of Fine Arts, specializing in Engraving and Printed Art, from the Faculty of Arts at the UNLP.
She is a visual artist and professor of Engraving and Printed Art at the Faculty of Arts, UNLP, and of Engraving at the Bachelor of Fine Arts, UNLP.
In 2022, she was awarded First Prize in Graphic Arts at the 110th National Salon of Visual Arts, Palais de Glace, and the OpenBA Prize, awarded by Proyecto 'ace, FIG Bilbao, and the CIEC Foundation, Argentina-Spain. In 2016, she received the Honorable Chamber of Deputies Award, Province of Buenos Aires, in the Engraving category at the Provincial Salon of Young Art, and a Special Mention from the Jury, the 2016 Williams Foundation Young Artist Award for Textile Art, among other distinctions. Her solo exhibitions include "Lost and Found" (Damme, 2015), "Insisto hasta que se entiende" (Siberia, 2015), and "Subversion Pink" (Tormenta Salvaje, 2014).
She has participated in group exhibitions such as "I'll Come and Go," co-hosted by artist Elisa Estrada (OSDE Foundation Art Space, 2024), "Tomorrow I'll Tell You, But I'm Fine" (Rehearsal Room, 2024), "Salón Molina Campos 2024 Edition" (E. Pettoruti Provincial Museum of Fine Arts, 2024), "Nocturno: Heritage and Self-Management in the La Plata Graphic Scene" (UNLP Art Center, 2023), "On Raves and Parties" (Cósmiko Gallery, 2022), and "Octopus Arms: Platforms and Related Houses" (MAR Museum, 2018), among others.
